I have the pleasure to post the first part of my graduation project, "Momotaro, Adventures on Oni Island" that I did during the last 3 months of my studies at New3dge Concept Art. Momotaro has always been a childhood's favorite of mine, and I thought it could be interesting to take inspiration of this tale, and give it my own twist ! So with this project, I created visuals and concept arts for a potentiel animated movie adaption of this famous japanese story ! I was inspired by western and eastern animation, and I tried to create something that would be the celebration of my multicultural background and my childhood. Big thanks to Ulysse Verhasselt and Simon Tosovsky for giving me feedbacks on my environment and character work, everything turned out better thanks to them ! Huge thanks to my mom for helping me translating words in japanese, even if my handwritting might look like a 5 years old writting.
